Educational Youth Program

At the age of 2, Brittany’s mother enrolled her in Gymboree classes localized at a dance studio in Long Island, New York. Every week as they would leave, she would stare at the dance room in awe. It was then her mother enrolled Brittany in her first combo dance class, and she hasn’t stopped since. At 5, she began training in all genres of dance from Ballet, to Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater and Acro. Brittany danced competitively across the country at competitions such as Starpower, Showbiz, On Stage America, Tremaine and more, winning numerous titles and scholarships like “Monsters of Hip-hip”, “The Pulse”, “Little Miss Showbiz,” “Tremaine Dance of the Year,” and Winner of “Live in Hollywood.” She was accepted into the Miami City Ballet at the age of 8, where she trained for two years while simultaneously performing in two musicals, "The Wiz," and "Showboat." At 10 Brittany auditioned for the Miami Heat Jr. Jam, where she became a member from 1999-2001. Later her family moved back to New York, where she began seriously training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Other training included Millennium, The Edge, and Debbie Reynolds in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 12, she auditioned to be a Knicks City Kid and New York Liberty Dancer. She performed for both teams for 3 years and made several national television appearances such as, Good Morning America, The Latin Billboard Awards, Latin Grammys, Back up dancer for Ashlee Simpson, The Roof, multiple music videos and award shows.

Brittany began teaching and choreographing all styles of dance at the age of 14 and after a tragic car accident in 2010, she found her love for health and fitness. Upon spending one whole year rehabilitating herself through physical therapy, yoga, Pilates, swimming, and brisk walking while following a nutritious diet, she embraced the healthy lifestyle for good. Nutrition, health and fitness became her new devotion, due to several permanent injuries, dance was put on hold. With drive and persistence she not only was able to teach dance again but also became a certified Pilates, Yoga and Aerobics instructor. In June 2012, she set out to make a difference in our youth  with Nick as Co-Founders of Fun and Fit 4 Kidz, Inc. which combined all her passions; health, fitness and teaching children.

Destined to be a Baseball player, his dad played competitively starring in the Little League World Series and attended Montclair State on a baseball scholarship and his grandfather was a catcher for the New York Yankees prior to his injury, so it was a big shock when little Nick at the age of 5 picked up a hockey stick and never put it down. As he grew older he became competitive in the sport, traveling to almost every state and even a few different countries to play and gain additional team victories. Nick won a national championship in hockey at the age of 8, was selected to team Florida at 12 and recruited to play in Czechoslovakia at 15. Nick was elected as Assistant Captain for two years at 16 and was the first team from Florida to go AAA at USA Hockey Nationals at the age of 17. Nick  was offered to play at Penn State, however, at 17 his Achilles' tendon was cut by the blade of a skate and unfortunately his hockey career was also terminated as he found himself forced to give up his hockey scholarship offers.

A year and a half later when his injury healed, he joined the gym and came to be very serious about fitness. At 19 he fell in love with the health and fitness world and became a Certified NFPT Personal Trainer. Independently training a variety of clients, Nick acquired a lot of management experience as his services quickly became sought after, all while pursuing Business at Florida Atlantic University. However he still wanted a new challenge, it was at that time, Brittany came home very upset about an overweight girl in her dance class. They both saw a tremendous need to educate today’s youth in a healthier lifestyle but in a more enjoyable way to generate a genuine interest in being healthy. Shortly after Nick and Brittany embarked as Co-Founders of Fun and Fit 4 Kidz, Inc.
